COMMUNITY PARK CONCEPT 2
This concept for a municipal park draws inspiration from local heritage and landmarks to transform the site of a demolished building into a public gathering space that exudes pride in the community. It features a community Christmas tree, stage inspired by a historic bridge along with sloped hill and seating area to allow events to be hosted, ample street-side seating by way of benches, screening of unsightly adjacent buildings by plant material, and shade opportunities and greening of the downtown with plenty of proposed trees.
