Jam Extreme
‘Jam Extreme’ was designed by Jamie McFarlane as part of a design team during an internship with Shape Products, for home electronics company HMDX as an extension of their existing ‘Jam’ line. ‘Jam Extreme’ is a rugged Bluetooth wireless speaker intended for active users, outdoors and in, who want to take their music with them wherever they go.

Another ‘Jam’ line design that Jamie worked on is currently in production and cannot be displayed in a portfolio at this time.
Context and Use
‘Jam Extreme’ is designed to be taken anywhere by clipping it onto clothes, or bags by its carabiner. It has a rugged Thermoplastic Elastomer, shock absorbing, water resistant overmould and boasts sound loud enough for outdoor listening.
